As QEHS Lead, you are responsible for setting up, monitoring, and continuously improving our quality, safety, health and environmental policy. You combine operational responsibility with a strategic role towards R&D and innovation. Thanks to your expertise, our products remain safe, sustainable and of top quality.
ROLE
Quality & Food Safety
- You are the owner of the entire quality system (HACCP, BRC/IFS) and you continuously elevate it. Your scope ranges from accurately managing all product specifications in customer portals to flawless ingredient traceability and CAPA follow-up:
you hold all the strings. - You see external audits as an opportunity to shine. You coordinate them seamlessly and ensure that any action points become real improvements on the production floor—not just items on a to-do list.
Safety & Environment
- You make Safety and Environment tangible. You don't just create an annual action plan; you build a safe and sustainable work environment.
- You organize impactful trainings and, as
Environmental Coordinator B
, you monitor waste and energy streams.
Hygiene
- Impeccable hygiene is not a checklist, but the foundation of our premium desserts. You fully take ownership of this domain.
- You design and optimize cleaning plans, dig into the technical side to validate our CIP cycles, and—most importantly—bring it all to life on the shop floor.
- Through your convincing training sessions, you ensure every colleague not only knows but also
embraces
the crucial role of hygiene.
R&D and Innovation
- You believe that standing still means falling behind, and you initiate product improvements based on insights from quality controls, customer contacts, and complaint handling.
- You use this input to support recipe development and ensure our recipes are continuously fine-tuned.
Reporting and KPIs
- Numbers are not a goal for you, but powerful tools.
- You create clear monthly QESH reports and dive into deviation analyses.
- By managing and analyzing lab results, you are the first to spot trends and translate these insights into concrete improvement actions on the production floor.
PROFILE
- Preferably you have a
Master's degree
in a relevant field (e.g., Biosciences, Bio-Engineering, Industrial Sciences) and at least
3 years of experience
in a QA/QC or QESH role within the food industry. - You have knowledge of
HACCP, BRC/IFS, ISO 22000
. - You possess certificates for
Prevention Advisor Level 2
and
Environmental Coordinator B
, or you are motivated to obtain these in the short term. - As an analytical thinker, you understand complex data and quickly recognize trends in, for example, lab results. Your accuracy and structured approach ensure flawless documentation and follow-up.
- You are a proactive and independent professional who takes ownership. Thanks to strong communication skills, you can both convince and train internal stakeholders.
- You communicate excellently in Dutch and have a good command of English.
